Terrell Youth Development Program

Entrance to Ben Gill ParkThe City of Terrell has partnered with Terrell Independent School District in a program to help our youth learn about becoming and staying active. It will help young people develop healthy habits they can carry with them throughout their lives. The benefits of being active go far beyond physical health or fitness. The Terrell Youth Development Program is also designed to help our youth gain the confidence that comes from having knowledge, educational tools, and skill sets to help them reach their full potential.

With the enthusiasm and passion of this great community, all of our youth will have an opportunity to be a part of recreational and competitive activities. The program will provide a healthy and safe outlet for them to gain new skills, develop a sense of teamwork, and connect with other positive role models. We are committed to working together with the community, toward the goal of building positive relationships that will lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork.
