To reach the station, go one mile north of the Terrell city limits on SH 34. Go east (right) on CR 319 for ¼ mile.
The Terrell Citizens Convenience Station accepts residential trash only. No commercial dumping allowed!
ALL VEHICLES AND TRAILERS MUST BE TARPED! Loose debris falling from load could result in fines.
NO BATTERIES ACCEPTED. Tires may be taken to
County Precinct Barn (limit 4). Appliances (refrigerators, stoves,
washers, etc.) may be taken to Terrell Iron & Metal on S. Delphine
St.
Bulky items: A permit is required to dispose of bulky items. Charges are based on the size of the load. Request a disposal permit at City Hall during regular office hours. Permits are valid for 60 days.
Recycling: As of November 14, 2008, recyclable items are no longer accepted at the Citizens Convenience Station.
NEW RECYCLING DROP-OFF CENTER located at the corner of N. Delphine and E. High St. in Terrell (behind the Sub-Courthouse). Only recyclable items will be accepted at this location. There is no fee and items are accepted 24 hours a day seven days a week. For information on the benefits of recycling contact the Environmental Coop at (972) 524-0007 or visit their website at www.trashbusters.org.
Items accepted: #1 & #2 plastics, aluminum cans, steel and tin cans, newspaper, cardboard, magazines, catalogs, school and office paper, cracker & cereal boxes*
*Glass is not accepted at this location at this time. Contact the Environmental Co-op for more information 972-524-0007.

Free Residential Clean Ups
The City of Terrell sponsors four (4) one-day residential clean up
events each year. During each one-day event citizens can dispose of
residential solid waste at the Terrell Citizens
Convenience Station free of charge from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
No commercial dumping allowed. Proof of residency may be required
in the form of a Texas Driver's License or a current water bill. For
more information, contact the Terrell Citizens Convenience Station
